Dp Dermaceuticals (as part of DermapenWorld) is firmly opposed to testing products on animals, and endorse the movement within the cosmetic industry to ensure animal testing is banned in the production of cosmetics and raw materials. We ensure our products are completely safe using non-animal approaches. It's part of our business philosophy to operate in a sustainable and ethical manner in all that we do.
DermapenWorld™ and its affiliated parties are very conscientious of the need to be eco-sustainable, and reducing our environmental footprint is a top priority. In 2020 we revealed the launch of our NEW Eco-Green Disposable Gloves. These address the necessary but wasteful single-use disposable issue by being biodegradable in a much shorter space of time—10 times faster than conventional nitrile gloves.
Where possible our containers use PCR (Post Consumed Recycled) materials and recycled glass. Due to some governmental regulations, laws still stipulate the need for external cartons/packaging. But we endeavour to use eco-friendly recycled paper (PEFC/FSC Paper), so that our cartons are 100% recyclable, sourced from well-managed forest facilities or recycled sources. We also encourage the reuse of external packaging if required.
As an Australian company, we love and respect our oceans. We only use natural exfoliators such as the bamboo extract found in MICRODERM EXFOLIANT, rather than using plastic beads that damage marine life. We do not use chemical-based or banned substances in our sunscreens that are known to ruin our precious water supplies. Instead, we choose organic mineral-based physical sunscreen ingredients.
As an organisation, we align ourselves with like-minded organisations and charities. Together we will strive to improve our environmental footprint.

Yes, we absolutely do ship worldwide. Simply enter your preferred shipping address during the purchase process.
Your order will be shipped from your closest warehouse or stock availability warehouse, either in the US, the Netherlands or Australia. We usually ship within 1-3 business days, but please allow up to 10 business days. You'll receive tracking information promptly after placing your order.
Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. To track your parcel, simply click on the link in the email and you’ll be directed to the courier website. If you can’t locate the tracking email, please make sure you’ve checked your spam and junk folder.
We use the fastest, most reliable couriers to ensure your orders arrive quickly and in pristine condition. While we cover a significant portion of the high-quality delivery service, we do ask for a nominal amount be paid towards shipping.

Dermapen HOME
The Dermapen HOME™ is for home use. It’s designed to complement clinical treatments using the Dermapen 4™. Dermapen HOME™ is a safe and hygienic alternative to derma rollers. Dermapen HOME™ boosts in-clinic microneedling results. You can adjust the pen level from 1 to 4. The pen is suitable for visibly improving the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation, problematic skin breakouts and more for at-home use. The level is also ideal for infusion of Meso Fluids, such as HYLA ACTIVE™.
For any deeper penetration, we highly recommend professional Dermapen Treatments (Dermapen 4) procedures where your skin is assessed and the required penetration depth determined. Deeper penetration also requires a sterile environment for risk-free and safe Protocols.
No. The Dermapen HOME™ does not have a cord and is operated by a rechargeable battery. Dermapen HOME comes with 2 batteries and 1 charger, so you will have your pen working every time you need to boost your skin glow.
The Dermapen HOME™ is for home use and doesn’t require a license. It is designed to complement clinical treatments.
Dermapen HOME is a safer and easier alternative to home “rolling” thanks to the consistent Advanced Oscillating Vertical Needle™ (AOVN), the needle guide, and sterile disposable needle cartridges. It should be used together with Dp Dermaceuticals, the NON-NEGOTIABLES when skin needling.
Please remember that at-home treatments are to be performed at superficial levels. That’s why Dermapen HOME has an adjustable level from 1 – 4.
The professional Dermapen 4™, on the other hand, has a variable depth up to 3mm to treat a wider range of skin concerns under the care of a trained professional.

There’s a lot of documented evidence that just because you can needle deeper, it does not necessarily provide you better results.
Many other factors affect this, such as the frequency of the treatment, the number of times the device passes over the skin, and the products used.

There really is no better alternative. Both our at-home and in-clinic solutions are designed to get the most out of each other. You’ll get the best results by following our DermapenWorld™ Protocols which include in-clinic procedures supported with at-home microneedling and a twice-daily Dp Dermaceuticals™ routine.
At full speed, Dermapen HOME™ creates 1920 micro perfurations per second, which equals approximately 110 revolutions per second.
Try to perform at least 4 – 8 procedures, spacing them out by 7 – 10 days. You’ll notice the results improve significantly with frequent, repeated use. Some skin concerns will noticeably improve after only 1 or 2 procedures; however, others may take a little longer. After the desired results are achieved, maintenance procedures may be required. This means using your Dermapen HOME™ every 1 – 2 months, depending on your age, lifestyle or skin condition.
For the best results, we recommend using Dermapen HOME to complement professional microneedling procedures in a clinic setting.

For the first 24 months of ownership, the warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect device operation. Any performance malfunction due to defects in manufacturing will be repaired or replaced during the warranty period.

- Faults by the users own intention/dismantle or repairs.

Instead of traditional oil-bases, our actives are encapsulated in HylaFuse™ technology. This is our scientifically developed formula of Hyaluronic Acid, and ensures delivery of the nutrients and vitamins into the cells, along with assisting oxygenation. It also creates the correct reactions to ensure the actives work in the skin.
Dp Dermaceuticals™ products are safe for use on all types of skin from Fitzpatrick 1 (more sensitive) to Fitzpatrick V or V1 (those with a higher risk of pigmentation concerns).
The active ingredients and strengths included in each of our products are based on their indication and clinical efficacy. We work closely with dermatologists and clinicians globally to research and develop each formulation so that it delivers what it says it will, and for the right skincare condition. Many skin care companies market their products based on the high strengths of particular ingredients, which may make them unstable and detrimental to the health of the skin. We believe in choosing ingredients in strengths that you can trust will work with the skin’s natural biology, not against it.
Retinol is a retinoid that has been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth skin texture, and improve overall skin tone. A retinoid is a class of Vitamin A compounds and derivatives that come in different forms and strengths.
Retinaldehyde (also known as Retinal) is used in many Dp Dermaceuticals™ products. It's another retinoid that has been shown to improve the feel of firmness and elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and rough skin. It is one of the gentler retinoids and more tolerated on sensitive skin than Retinol. Both Retinaldehyde and Retinol have to be first converted by skin enzymes to the only active form of Vitamin A (Retinoic Acid) before they are effective via the following conversion process:
Retinyl Palmitate > Retinol > Retinaldehyde > Retinoic Acid (Tretinoin)
Retinyl Palmitate is a Vitamin A ester, made by combining Palmitic Acid with Retinol. It's considered a less irritating form of Retinol and is gentler on sensitive skin because of the lengthier process that must take place for it to be converted into Retinoic Acid.
For the most part, our products do not contain animal-derived ingredients. The exceptions are CLR LOTION™, CLR FOAM CLEANSER™ and MG-CLR™ that contain honey, and SSSCAR™ and CBD ÜBER CALM BALM™ that contain beeswax.
Most Dp Dermaceuticals™ products do not contain fragrances, although some may contain essential oils or carefully selected fragrances that are manufactured exclusively to our specifications.
Within the Dp Dermaceuticals™ range, we have products that contain healthy bacteria, probiotics, fungi, yeast or fermented extracts. These may include Lactobacillus, Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Ergothioneine. We understand the need for the balance of microbiomes by removing the bad bacteria but working with our bodies natural defences and good bacteria to nurture the skin’s microbiome for healthy skin.
A. Most of our products include a prominent ‘step number’ on the box, breaking it down into the following order of use:

If you're the type of person (like us) who wants to understand more about your skincare, think about the consistency and action of each of your products. For example:
1. Cleanse (with TRI-PHASE CLEANSER™ or CLR FOAM CLEANSER™) first to remove surface impurities, makeup, and oils.
2. Exfoliation (with MICRODERM EXFOLIANT™) comes after cleansing to gently remove dead skin cells – preparing the skin for Dermapen™ microneedling procedures or enhanced infusion of your serums.
3. Serums are ‘water’ to ‘water-gel’ like consistencies that are light texture in nature and designed to absorb into the skin (such as ANTIOXIDANT COCKTAIL™ and HYLA ACTIVE™). These potent serums should be shielded by a corrector or moisturiser.
4. Correctors are generally smooth oil-based lipids encapsulating highly active ingredients designed to be delivered deeper with the aid of our HylaFuse™ delivery complex – these are NON NEGOTIABLES in a skincare regime.
5. Moisturisers come next and are luxurious creams designed to engulf the skin with moisture and provide a protective barrier, leaving the skin surface radiant in appearance.
6. For final protection, use COVER RECOVER™ SPF 30. Our anti-ageing, protective sunscreen and foundation in one is your daily non negotiable for ultimate skin protection.
It’s a scientific fact that SPF 50+ only offers marginally better protection than SPF 30. SPF 50+ filters out 98% of UVB radiation, while SPF 30 blocks out 96.7% of UVB*. Our COVER RECOVER™ foundation contains SPF 30, which effectively blocks out harmful rays while being incredibly gentle and kind on your skin. To include a higher SPF could mean greater percentages of chemical ingredients, which may be linked to hormone disruption, trigger allergic reactions, and potentially expose you to more free radical damage. COVER RECOVER uses non-chemical mineral-derived sunscreen.

The ingredients we use in our formulations have been chosen so that every product works together to improve the look and feel of your skin. Exclusively using Dp Dermaceuticals™ offers you the most benefit from our synergistic products. Our starter kits are a great introduction to a family of products that work together to help your particular skin concern.
Yes! Dp Dermaceuticals™ are suitable for even the most sensitive skin types and contain ingredients that can help with the symptoms of acne, pigmentation, redness (rosacea), eczema and psoriasis.
After a Dermapen™ treatment or when starting a new skincare routine which contains a high quantity of 'actives', your skin will go through a renewal phase. These periods are called 'inflammation' and 'proliferation'. During an inflammation phase, the stimulation releases growth factors to start the new collagen production process. During proliferation, you may experience possible dryness, itchiness, or irritation, as the redundant cells are rising to the surface, and the skin is purging. Acne may seem worse for a short period of time, or pigmentation may appear darker 5–10 days post-treatment. This is a normal and positive response. If irritation continues, cease using the prescribed corrective, allow the skin to settle, and reintroduce the product into the rest of your routine every second night. In a short period of time, your skin will appear younger-looking and more radiant.
There’s no need to rinse your face after applying any Dp Dermaceuticals™ masks, serums and creams. Only the cleansers and exfoliants should be rinsed off.
Your skin will continue absorbing the nutrients after the mask is removed. Many of our products provide a shield from the natural elements, further protecting and healing the skin. Allow the products to dry on your skin and only rinse the next time you cleanse.
Dp Dermaceuticals™ is Australian-owned with all of our clinically tested products manufactured to the highest GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) approved standards. Our products are hypoallergenic with all ingredients prepared and ‘clinically washed’ to optimal safety standards. Any ingredient chosen for its preservative effect is considered safe to use and in most cases has been selected to boost the performance of the raw ingredient. This is particularly important when combining these unique formulas with microneedling.
Yes, they are safe for use across all seasons. There are no concerns around sun exposure for those being treated for hyperpigmentation. Daily use of COVER RECOVER™ SPF 30 is recommended.

Dp Dermaceuticals L.E.D.
The mask is tested to an international standard for eye safety IEC62471. This tests the amount of harmful light that is emitted that could cause skin harm and ocular damage. It's a standard that's used by many light device manufacturers and is necessary for FDA clearance as well as other international regulatory bodies.
Dp Dermaceuticals L.E.D.™ masks pass the standard and do not contain any harmful UV, and a trace (around 0.0001%) of IR. Even on a cloudy day, you would receive more UV and IR from sitting outside reading a book.

You will find when the device is first turned on, the light appears very bright. However, within a couple of minutes, your eyes adjust.
During the daytime, you'll be able to move around and even read or work on a computer. When there is less light, the brightness of the LEDs may prevent you from reading; however, the brightness will become comfortable with eyes open or closed.
If you prefer to completely cover your eyes, pop a sleeping eye mask (like what you use on an aeroplane) on underneath Dp Dermaceuticals L.E.D.™ FACE. Other alternatives are bean bag eye pillows, or any soft, clean material or eye gel pads.

Retinaldehyde (also known as Retinal) is used in many Dp Dermaceuticals products. It’s another retinoid that has been shown to improve the feel of firmness and elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and rough skin. Whilst it’s the most potent form of Vitamin A, it’s also one of the gentler retinoids available and more tolerated on sensitive skin than Retinol. Both Retinaldehyde and Retinol have to be first converted by skin enzymes to the only active form of Vitamin A (that’s Retinoic Acid) before they are effective via the following conversion process:Retinyl Palmitate • Retinol • Retinaldehyde • Retinoic Acid (Tretinoin)
Retinyl Palmitate is a Vitamin A ester, made by combining Palmitic Acid with Retinol. It’s considered a less irritating form of Retinol. It’s gentler on sensitive skin because of the lengthier process that must take place for it to be converted into Retinoic Acid, making it an ideal ingredient post microneedling, as featured in our VITAMIN RICH REPAIR.

Yes! Dermapen Treatments™ work very well for dark circles under the eyes in two ways.
1. The treatment helps build skin thickness and quality. Therefore, thin transparent skin that causes dark circles is improved.
