Installing a Needle Cartridge

Before you provide a Dermapen Treatment, you'll need to insert a Needle Cartridge. ALWAYS install a genuine Dermapen 4 SSS Needle Cartridge at all times. Installation of any other cartridge will risk damage to the Dermapen 4 and possible voiding of the warranty.  

1. Insert the drive ball (pointy, non-needle) end of the cartridge into the Dermapen
   

2. Turn the Needle Cartridge a quarter-turn clockwise to securely lock it in place. When using the Dp SLEEVE, DO NOT remove the Needle Cartridge protective cap until the sleeve has been fully placed on the device.
     

3. A Needle Cartridge can be installed while Dermapen 4 is turned on or off; however, the motor will not operate without a Needle Cartridge installed.  

4. If the Needle Cartridge is not installed properly, the LCD screen will display the cartridge symbol flashing on and off. Dermapen 4 will not operate until the cartridge is installed correctly.  

Warning: Do not use any SSS needle cartridge if the sterile packaging or seals are damaged or broken in any way. Immediately dispose of any cartridge that has any damage.
