Registering Your Dermapen 4

Register a Dermapen 4 (Initial Device Sync) 

Before you register your Dermapen device, make sure:

• Your Dermapen 4 is powered off. 

• Bluetooth is enabled on the smart device. 

• Bluetooth is enabled for the Dermapen app (Settings – Privacy – Bluetooth – Dermapen) 
  

• You have added your clinic to the app

Now you’re ready to register your device. Follow the steps below.

1. Select the Product tab to navigate to the Product page.  

2. Select + Register button in the top right-hand corner

3. Select the clinic from the list of clinics that you want the Dermapen 4 to be registered to 

4. You’ll see a screen checking that Bluetooth is enabled.  

If Bluetooth is enabled, you’ll see this screen:

If Bluetooth is not enabled, you’ll be asked to turn Bluetooth on. 

5. A few seconds after Bluetooth is successfully enabled, the screen will automatically transition to a screen scanning for your Dermapen.

6. Turn your Dermapen on and ensure it’s in Bluetooth pairing mode. It should look like this.  

If the pen powers on in treatment mode, you will need to manually place the pen into pairing mode by holding down the +speed and +depth button together for five seconds until the pen displays the Bluetooth symbol.  

7. When the Dermapen 4 is in Sync Mode, the app will show that it’s ready to be registered. 

8. Select Connect device.  If the Dermapen 4 has never been Bluetooth paired with this mobile device you will need to enter in the 6 digit pairing code onto the phone/tablet as displayed on the pen display. Please ensure that all 6 numbers are input correctly and in the right order.

Restart the pen after it has been synched for the changes to take effect.

9. The device will go through a synchronisation step and then confirm when syncing is complete.  

10. The Dermapen 4 is now registered to the clinic and is ready to use. A Dermapen 4 that’s ready to use looks like this.
