Adjusting Needle Speed

Use the speed +/- buttons to increase or decrease the needle speed (respectively). Your device will make a single tone for each valid button press.

The Dermapen 4 emits a double tone to indicate the new speed value has been accepted. The selected speed is displayed on the Speed Indication Arc. 

You can adjust the speed without a Needle Cartridge connected to the Dermapen 4. There are 4 speed settings on the Dermapen 4 device. They are:  

ST Setting (Scar Treatment Setting - Speed 5) is automatically adjusted to a speed of 60hz - 60 revolutions per second at a depth of 3.0mm. This speed cannot be changed.  

Adjusting Needle Depth 

Use the Depth +/- buttons to increase or decrease the needle depth (respectively). Your device will make a single tone for each valid button press.  

The Dermapen 4 emits a double tone to indicate the new depth value has been accepted. The selected depth is displayed on the Depth Indication Digits. 

You can adjust depth without a Needle Cartridge connected to the Dermapen. The minimum needle depth is 0.2mm and the maximum is 3.0mm which is indicated by the ST (Scar Treatment Setting) 

The needle depth increments are as follows:  

0.2mm
